Donor Opportunities

Donor Commitment: $25,000 (1 year) or $60,000 (3 years)
The Greater Cedar Rapids Open Title Donor will be recognized in the tournament name, such as “The [Title Donor] Greater Cedar Rapids Open.” In addition to being part of the tournament name, the Title Donor’s name will be included in all print, radio, billboard, major event signage and television advertising. The donor’s logo and website link also will be placed on the GCRO website.

• 40 passes to the Wednesday night Pro/Am dinner party

Donor Commitment: $12,500 (1 year) or $30,000 (3 years)
The Greater Cedar Rapids Open Presenting Donors will each be recognized in the tournament name such as “The [TrueNorth] Greater Cedar Rapids Open, presented by [Presenting Donors].” In addition to being part of the tournament name, each Presenting Donor’s name will be included in all print, radio, billboard, major event signage and television advertising. The donor’s logo and website link also will be placed on the GCRO website.

• 16 passes to the Wednesday night Pro/Am dinner party

Donor Commitment: $10,000 (1 year) or $24,000 (3 years)
The Greater Cedar Rapids Open Pro/Am Donor will be recognized with major signage for both days of our annual GCRO Pro/Ams. Your company also will be verbally recognized before the start of both events. The donor’s logo and website link also will be placed on the GCRO website.

Donor Commitment: $10,000 (1 year) or $24,000 (3 years)
The Greater Cedar Rapids Open Junior Golf Clinic Donor will be recognized with the company name on all GCRO Junior Golf Clinic signage for all tournament events.

Donor Commitment: $7,500 (1 year) or $18,000 (3 years)
The Greater Cedar Rapids Open Caddie Donor will be recognized with the company name on all GCRO Caddie smocks for all tournament events using caddies (approximately 100 to 150 caddie smocks will be used each day).

Donor Commitment: $6,000 each (1 year) or $15,000 each (3 years)
The Greater Cedar Rapids Open Eagle Donors include: Driving Range Donor, Volunteer Donor, or Practice Green Donor. Each donor will be recognized with signage on our scoreboard.

Driving Range Donor: Recognized with 100 dozen company logoed range balls – mixed with Hunters Ridge range balls – to be used during the tournament and through the remainder of the Hunters Ridge golf season.

Volunteer Donor: Recognized with company name and logo on all GCRO volunteer T-shirts (approximately 200 to 300 to be worn throughout tournament events).

Practice Green Donor: Recognized with 4-foot-by-4-foot company sign near the main practice green throughout the tournament.

The Greater Cedar Rapids Open Player Gift Donor  will be recognized with your company’s name/logo on a customized gift given to each golfer participating in a GCRO Pro/Am event (an estimated 280 golfers!)

Donor Commitment: $6,000 each for 9 holes only or $10,000 for all 18 holes 
The Greater Cedar Rapids Open Tee Marker Donor will be recognized with your company’s name/logo on a customized pair of tee markers for each hole, to be used during all the Pro/Ams and the tournament competition.

• 4 spots in the 4-person Best Shot Pro/Am @ $6,000 level
• 8 spots in the 4-person Best Shot Pro/Am @ $10,000 level
• 8 passes to the Wednesday night Pro/Am dinner party @ $6,000 level

1 Donor – 7 holes – front 9: Recognized with signage on all holes except Par 3s. $3,000 (1 year) or $7,500 (3 years).

1 Donor – 7 holes – back 9: Recognized with signage on all holes except Par 3s. $3,000 (1 year) or $7,500 (3 years).

1 Donor – 14 holes – front and back 9: Recognized with signage on all holes except Par 3s. $5,000 (1 year) or $12,000 (3 years).

• 7-hole Donors: 4 spots in the 4-person Best Shot Pro/Am and 8 passes to
  the Wednesday night Pro/Am dinner party
• 14-hole Donor: 8 spots in the 4-person Best Shot Pro/Am and 16 passes to

Donor Commitment: $1,500 to $4,000 (1 year only)
The Greater Cedar Rapids Open Scoreboard Donor sponsors the magnets which hold the official tournament scoresheets to the scoreboard at Hunters Ridge. Each customized magnet has your company name/logo on it. There are a total of 14 magnets.

1 Donor – 14 magnets: $4,000

2 Donors – 6 magnets each: $3,000 each donor

6 Donors  – 2 magnets each: $1,500 each donor.

Donor Commitment: $3,000 each (1 year) or $7,500 each (3 years)
The Greater Cedar Rapids Open Birdie Donors include: Longest Drive Donor, Official TV Donor, or Official Beer Donor or Official Non-Alcoholic Beverage Donor. Each donor will be recognized with signage on or near our scoreboard and a custom flag on one of the 18 greens.

Longest Drive Donor: Recognized with Longest Drive signage at the Longest Drive Contest tee.

Official TV Donor: Recognized with signage on or near our scoreboard.

Official Beer Donor: Recognized with the exclusive use of its brands during tournament week including the three Pro/Ams, the Pro/Am dinner party and the tournament proper.

Official Non-Alcoholic Beverage Donor: Recognized with the exclusive use of its brands during tournament week including the three Pro/Ams, the Pro/Am dinner party and the tournament proper.

The Greater Cedar Rapids Open Major Pro/Am Donor is the most popular donor level since our tournament’s inception in 1999. It’s a great way to join the GCRO donor family. Each donor will be recognized with signage on or near our scoreboard and a custom flag on one of the 18 greens.

Donor Commitment: $1,200 (1 year only)
The Greater Cedar Rapids Open Par Donor is one of our most popular donor levels since our tournament’s inception in 1999. Each donor will be recognized with signage on or near our scoreboard and a custom flag on one of the 18 greens.

Price: $1,000 (1 year only)
The Greater Cedar Rapids Open Foursome Donor is the easiest way for a group of friends or business associates to participate in our tournament.

Individual, corporate, charitable, foundation or other donor gifts (minimum $5) are welcome and can be made to the Greater Cedar Rapids Open by contacting Jim McPartland at 319-310-5745. The GCRO is an official Internal Revenue Service Qualified 501 (C-3) non-profit organization.
