Spotters
Thank you for your interest in serving as a volunteer for the Greater Cedar Rapids Open. Spotters, the largest group of volunteers, work on the course to assist all players. This includes spotting balls that have strayed from the fairway, which enables players to find their balls and make their own decisions about how to proceed.

Spotters are needed to work the entire tournament, Friday through Sunday. If possible, spotters are encouraged to work two- to three-hour shifts, ranging from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Fewer shifts will be needed on Sunday.

Some knowledge of golf is desirable, but not necessary. Walking is involved for some assignments. A short training meeting will be held when you arrive for your shift to familiarize you with spotting. So, please arrive a little early.

How do I sign up?
To volunteer, please send an email to gcropen@gmail.com. Be sure to provide your name, address, phone number, the area(s) that you would like to volunteer, and the shift (morning or afternoon) you are available. You also may contact Gregg Klocke at 319-533-2256 or gklocke@aegonusa.com.

Thanks to your invaluable efforts and support, we can continue making this tournament one of the best tournaments in Iowa.
