• Provide a showcase for aspiring professional golfers from around the world,
• Promote the game of golf as a “lesson in life” and a “game for a lifetime,”
• Highlight the hospitality and cooperation of the local community,
• Benefit area non-profit organizations that provide recreational opportunities for local youth and adults.

Hunters Ridge Golf Course

Established in 1997, Hunters Ridge Golf Course is one of the top-rated public golf courses in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Corridor. Designed within the rolling hills and abundant native areas of Eastern Iowa, this 18-hole championship course offers a 100-foot elevation change over 400 acres.

With bent grass tees, greens and fairways, 50 strategically-placed bunkers and nine ponds, Hunters Ridge provides a true challenge for all levels of golfers. Four sets of tee boxes can allow a more forgiving course for the novice player, but can be stretched to more than 7,000 yards to test even the most serious golfers.

The front nine holes wind through a residential housing development and have generous landing areas and accessible greens. The back nine holes are narrow with many ponds and wetlands entering the field of play.
