There is major road construction going on around Hunters Ridge Golf Course, site of the 20thannual TrueNorth Greater Cedar Rapids Open.
This specifically involves Lucore Road, where there is no access to Hunters Ridge Road and thus the course.
In all the following scenarios, when you turn onto Hunters Ridge Road from Winslow Road, you will immediately see a sign “Road Closed to Thru Traffic.” GO AROUND that sign to the clubhouse. The road is open to the course.
We suggest the following routes:
From the west – From I-380, take Exit 28 /Toddville and head east on County Home Road 6 miles to Winslow Road. Turn south on Winslow Road and proceed to Hunters Ridge Road. Turn east to course.
From Iowa Highway 13 – Head west on County Home Road to Winslow Road.Turn south on Winslow and proceed to Hunters Ridge Road. Turn east to course.
From 10thStreet in Marion – Go north to Connection Avenue. Turn east on Connection to Winslow Road. Turn north on Winslow Road and proceed to Hunters Ridge Road. Turn east to course.
Please note that Lucore Road south of the course is OPEN to Silver Oak Trail. There is also a “Road Closed to Thru Traffic” sign at the corner of Lucore and Indian Creek Road. You would go around that sign heading north on Lucore. Turn west on Silver Oak Trail, which winds through the subdivision and portions of the golf course to Hunters Ridge Road. You would turn east on Hunters Ridge Road to the clubhouse.
